IND vs AUS: Virat Kohli scored his 75th international century against the Aussies in the Border Gavaskar series of 2023, and his 28th Test century came in just 241 deliveries. His knock has kept hopes of victory alive in the test match. He went on to score 186 runs, however, after his dismissal, a heartwarming incident was captured on camera as Aussie players were spotted congratulating Virat for his knock.

Kohli’s exceptional performance was acknowledged by Australian cricketer Steve Smith, who displayed tremendous sportsmanship by running over to congratulate him on his outstanding knock of 186 runs. In the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia, Virat Kohli was dismissed for 186 runs as India amassed a total of 571 runs on the fourth day. The Indian captain had earlier partnered with Axar Patel to put on a crucial partnership of 162 runs for the sixth wicket, which gave India the upper hand in the match.
One of the first players to congratulate Kohli on his outstanding innings was Steve Smith, who was heading the Australian team in the absence of Pat Cummins. Others to do so were Nathan Lyon and Alex Carey. It was amazing to watch as two of this generation’s best batters shook hands in a gesture of respect and admiration for one another.

Virat Kohli scored 186 runs in 364 balls, including 15 fours but no sixes. Kohli was out for 186 runs as a result of his desire to accelerate the run rate. The Indian skipper received standing ovation from the audience for his outstanding performance, and despite being out for the game, the Australian players showed their respects to him.
