IND Vs AUS T20 World Cup 2024: Finally, after so many disappointments, India have conquered the biggest thorn in their side. They completely dominated the Aussies and have almost knocked them out of the tournament.
It is now up to Afghanistan to take care of business from their side to complete this turnaround by the Indian team. It was a complete all-round performance by the Men In Blues as they won the match by 24 runs.
The counter-attack was started by Rohit Sharma as he played a throbbing knock of 92 runs and led from the front. The counter-attack was finished by Jasprit Bumrah who knocked down Travis Head to secure the victory for India.

The Aussies were chasing the target fluidly on the back of Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell. A smart change by Rohit to bring Kuldeep back worked as he knocked down Maxwell but Head did not stop.
That is when Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl the 17th over. He outsmarted Head and deceived him completely with a slower delivery. It was an easy catch for skipper Rohit Sharma who did not make a mistake.
Revenge Completed?
The ICT have done their job. They have knocked down their goliath and now it is up to Afghanistan to complete this payback. If Afghanistan wins against Bangladesh, the Aussies will be knocked out of the tournament.
There is still a slight chance that Australia might make it to the semi-finals if Afghanistan loses against Bangladesh. So, it is up to Afghanistan to keep their fairy tail alive and also knock out Australia in the process. That is when ICT’s revenge will be completed.
