Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, two key Indian batsmen, were engaged in a lighthearted and comical moment that they would prefer to have gone unnoticed by the cameras.

Virat Kohli teases Shubman Gill

During the morning session of Day 4, just a few minutes into play, Virat Kohli seized the chance to made some amusement into the game. He engaged in a light-hearted exchange with his opening batsman, Shubman Gill, as they made their way towards their respective positions in the slip cordon.

Walking casually towards the 23-year-old batsman, the ex-captain of the Indian cricket team playfully gestured as if he was about to strike Gill in the groin. Responding spontaneously, Gill instinctively protected the sensitive area with both hands and playfully responded with a humorous gesture of his own.

The manner in which both players maintained their positions after the light-hearted incident is a clear indication of the camaraderie they possess, despite there being an age gap of 11 years between them. After the short video clip swiftly spread across social media platforms, fans responded with a plethora of hilarious and imaginative reactions to the amusing moment.
