We have seen his yorkers during IPL seasons and he has also been a nightmare for many batsmen in the death overs. At this moment, there is no other bowler more capable than Bumrah to bowl a yorker at the perfect time.
We had not seen his yorker in the World Cup so far. but the group stage match against Bangladesh changed that for the good. Bumrah bowled a perfect yorker that shut down the opponents and left the fans in awe.
An Inch Perfect Yorker
In the last over of the first inning, Bumrah got the ball, and in front of him was Mahmudullah who was playing brilliantly. He had scored 46 runs in 36 balls and was looking to make the most of the last over.
But Jasprit Bumrah had other ideas and the second ball of the over was a perfect yorker. The ball first hit the shoes of Mahmudullah and then uprooted the stump from the ground. Mahmudullah was left speechless and did not know what happened.

With this wicket, Bumrah became the second bowler to reach double figures in wickets in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. It was his 10th wicket of the tournament and he is just behind Mitchell Santhner now.
Santhner has 11 wickets to his name and is leading the wicket-taking chart while Bumrah is right behind him with 10. Matt Henry is right behind these two with 9 wickets to his name.
