Not just this, he also broke another record as well and joined MS Dhoni in another record-list. Actually, Rishabh became the second Indian wicketkeeper to breach 4000-run mark in international cricket. The only other Indian player to acheive this milestone is MS Dhoni.

Rishabh joins the elite list
The southpaw, who ranks third all-time behind Shahid Afridi (46) and Rohit Sharma (51), accomplished this achievement in just 54 innings. On Day 1 of the first Test against Bangladesh at Chattogram on Wednesday, Pant reached this milestone during the second session.
Mehidy Hasan, an off-spinner, attempted to get in between Rishabh Pant and the wicket. But all he could muster was a delectable full toss, which the southpaw dispatched over mid-wicket for his fiftyth Test six.
