IND vs BAN, T20 World Cup 2022: There were lively scenes all around in the Adelaide Oval during the match between India and Bangladesh. Hasan Mahmud threw a full-toss ball in the 16th over of the match, and Virat Kohli was unable to clear it off the bat.
He started gesturing for a no-ball as he ran across the field in pursuit of a single. Shakib-al-Hasan quickly contested the umpire’s decision to call a no-ball. The umpire tried to stop Shakib, but as soon as he saw Kohli, he gave him a big hug, making it seem like everything was well.
Even the umpire was giggling as the two engaged in lively conversation.
Eventually, the matter was resolved, but it took some time. Funnily enough, Kohli smiled when he looked at Shakib and signalled it again when the umpire called another head-high wide from Shoriful Islam in the next over. Virat Kohli went on to score 64* off 44 balls, helping his team to score 184 after 20 overs in the IND vs BAN clash.
