Debutant Zakir slammed century
Zakir made his first century by striking a four on the first ball of Ashwin’s over. Unsurprisingly, Hasan then went to defend the ball on the second ball itself. The edge of his bat struck his pads and was caught in the slips after striking them. In a flawless dive forward, Kohli took a fantastic catch. Meanwhile, the catch’s video is quickly going viral on social media.
In his first-ever test match, Zakir Hasan of the Bangladesh cricket team exploded for a magnificent century against India. He scored 100 runs off 224 balls, which is surely a remarkable inning. He also hit 13 fours and a six during his knock.
