IND vs BAN

IND vs BAN: On Day 3 of the second India vs. Bangladesh Test match at Mirpur, another duel between Mohammed Siraj and Litton Das was seen, and just like the first match, the India pacer easily won it. Siraj completed the ideal retaliation by dismissing the Bangladeshi batter in the first Test in Chattogram, and he repeated the feat in the second Test. The difference was that Siraj did all the work while being aggressive and using his cricketing abilities.

Siraj gives India the much needed breakthrough

To stop the Indian bowler’s onslaught, Litton launched a masterful counterattack throughout the second and third sessions of play on Saturday. India’s acting captain looked to Mohammed Siraj, who frequently comes up with something spectacular, in a desperate attempt to get a wicket.

Siraj struck gold with a stunning delivery in the 67th over of Bangladesh’s second innings. Litton was taken off guard when the ball swung hard back in. The right-hander, who had been hitting the ball so brilliantly up until that point, took too long to put his bat down. India made a much-needed breakthrough with that wicket.

Siraj’s celebration after Litton Das wicket

By watching Siraj’s celebration, one could determine how significant that wicket was for India. Litton, who was only saddened and surprised by his wicket, heard him yell and roar before he spoke to him briefly. In contrast to the Chattogram Test, where Litton furiously charged Siraj after being sledged, Litton returned to the pavilion this time without even looking at the India pacer. Nevertheless, Siraj kept up the actions in spite of that.

He put his finger on his ears in a similar manner to how Litton had in the first Test following the sledging incident. Following Litton’s valiant 73-ball effort, India quickly took the final two wickets of Bangladesh to end their second innings for 231. To win the game and the series 2-0, India needs to score 145.
