That is when Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah came in. Axar especially was phenomenal in the Powerplay as he took down two explosive English batsmen including the crucial wicket of Buttler.
Bumrah was also sensational as he perfectly utilized the slowness of the pitch and completely trapped Phil Salt. Salt was the main wicket that the Indian team had to target as he could change the game in a matter of minutes.

It was a perfect start for Axar Patel who knocked down England skipper Jos Buttler on his very first delivery. Till then Buttler was looking dangerous as he had just hit Arshdeep for 3 consecutive boundaries in the previous over.
Axaralso pegged down Jonny Bairstow who was not even able to open his account. And right after the PowerPlay, he took down Moeen Ali with the help of Rishabh Pant, who was quick as a fox.
But the real danger for India was Phil Salt and Jasprit Bumrah took care of him. It was a typical Bumrah dismissal where the batsman tried to hit him out of the park but missed completely and the stumps went flying away.

With half of the England team already in the pavilion before even touching the 50-run mark, it looks like Men In Blues are eyeing another World Cup final. India must continue this domination in this match and buckle down the English side as soon as possible.
