Virat Kohli was once again dismissed on a single digit score during IND Vs ENG T20 World Cup 2024 match as India looks in trouble.

IND Vs ENG T20 World Cup 2024: The nightmare T20 World Cup for Virat Kohli continued in the semi-final as well when he was clean bowled by Reece Topley for another underwhelming score.

Rohit Sharma lost the toss and was asked to bat first on a very tough pitch. The rain had slightly dampened it up which meant that the bounce would be far less than usual. It demanded the batsmen to stay on the pitch.

But Kohli once again was reckless as he was looking to hit every delivery out of the park. He even succeeded once as he knocked Topley out of the park but his recklessness cost him the wicket in the same over.

Reckless Virat Kohli!

As the pitch was reacting and staying low, Kohli was hitting and missing lots of shots. It was clear that he needed to stay and feel the pitch more before attacking on every delivery.

But this new Kohli and his aggressive approach have reached a category of recklessness and carelessness where he looks to attack every ball. It might have worked in IPL, but in West Indies, where bowlers have more to work with, it is a suicidal approach.

After hitting Topley for a glorious six earlier in the over, Kohli decided to go again on a quite similar delivery. But he missed and the ball directly hit the stumps as Kohli looked frustrated.

IND Vs ENG T20 World Cup 2024: Advantage England

The English side already had a slight advantage after winning the toss. On a pitch like this where rain is still a factor, bowling first is a very good option. The Men In Blues will need another inning like Rohit Sharma against Australia to get a knack at winning this match.
