IND vs IRE: Making a triumphant comeback to the team following an extended injury break, Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna is experiencing an extraordinary resurgence in the ongoing T20I series against Ireland. However, a video of him has now gone viral on social media where he could be seen hitting the Irish batter with bowl, although, he apologised later for his act instantly.
Prasidh Krishna’s Aggressive throw
Prasidh Krishna, who secured two wickets in the opening game continued his special run in the second clash as well. During the ongoing contest at The Village in Dublin, the Karnataka bowler swiftly claimed two wickets in the first over he delivered. Yet, his prowess extended beyond his bowling skills, as he displayed a sense of aggression on the field. During his second over, while delivering the ball to Andrew Balbirnie, Prasidh Krishna threw the ball back towards the batsman, striking him on the back, irking a reaction from everyone.
The incident unfolded when Prasidh Krishna sent a fuller delivery, prompting Andrew Balbirnie to advance down the pitch and tap the ball back to the bowler. Responding with a display of assertiveness, Prasidh Krishna hurled the ball back in Balbirnie’s direction. Nevertheless, he swiftly expressed regret for his action by issuing an immediate apology.
