IND vs NZ: Indian team is now preparing for the ODI series against New Zealand after winning the three-match T20I series 1-0. India and New Zealand will play their first game of the series on November 25, 2022. For this series, Shikhar Dhawan and company have arrived in Auckland. Practice for the team began today as well.
Indian team begins practise in Auckland
Some of these players, like Shikhar Dhawan and Deepak Chahar, arrived in Auckland without taking part in India’s T20 series. While the majority of the players travelled from Napier to Auckland on Wednesday. In Napier, the final T20 game of the series was played. Eden Gardens will serve as the site of the opening ODI. India took little rest after arriving and immediately went to the field in order to assess the pitch’s atmosphere and test each member of the team.
Senior players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Ravichandran Ashwin have been rested for the series while the young guns are ready to take on the Kiwis. There are many expectations from these players as their performance in this series will strengthen their position in ODI World Cup 2023 as well.
