IND vs NZ: India and New Zealand are playing in the first of the three ODI matches (IND vs NZ). Team India’s opening pair of captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill amassed a first-wicket partnership of 60 runs. Young Shubman Gill kept playing aggressively despite the dismissals of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Shubman Gill did manage to survive 2 dismissals in one ball at one point during the game, though.
Shubman Gill gets lucky with the ball
Shubman Gill was almost caught on the very first ball of the 19th over by M. Bracewell. In an attempt to take the ball across the line, Shubman Gill stepped from the crease. Shubman Gill failed miserably in this endeavour, as the ball sailed off the outside of his bat and into the wicketkeeper’s gloves.
Tom Latham, the captain and wicketkeeper for New Zealand, made a mistake there. Tom Latham not only fumbled the catch, but he also squandered a prime stumping chance. Shubman Gill received two saves on a single ball in this circumstance. Shubman Gill scored 116 runs in the third one-day international against Sri Lanka.

Team India chose to bat first after winning the toss. Ishaan Kishan scored 5 runs before being dismissed along with Virat Kohli (8) and Rohit Sharma (34) . Team India has so far scored 183 runs in 29 overs while losing 4 wickets as of the time of writing this article.
