IND vs PAK: India have defeated Pakistan at the Asian Champions Trophy 2023 by 4-0. The match took place at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai. With this, India have strengthed their chances further in the tournament while Pakistan has missed out from the opportunity. Men in Blue also continue their winning streak with this jubilant victory. With four victories out of five matches, the team concludes the group stage in the leading position with a total of 13 points. Pakistan, on the other hand, is set for the 5th place playoff in the next round.

India maintains their impressive streak
The first goal came just before the first quarter at the 15th minute by Harmanpreet Singh from a penalty corner while the second goal too came from Harmanpreet Singh at the 23rd minute. By the half-time India had a score line of 2-0. The third goal came at the 36th minute from Jugraj Singh. The carnage from Men in Blue did not end here as Akashdeep Singh scored the 4th goal at the 55th minute while Pakistan failed to score even a single goal.
The journey of the Indian men’s hockey team began with a dominant 7-2 victory against China, followed by a 1-1 draw against Japan. They maintained their impressive performance by achieving a convincing 5-0 win against Malaysia. Notably, India is the only undefeated team in the tournament so far. Pakistan has managed to win just match in the tournament.
