IND vs PAK: In the finale match of the IBSA World Games hosted in Birmingham, the Pakistan cricket team achieved a remarkable triumph against India, prevailing with an eight-wicket margin. Showing their batting prowess, the Pakistani squad effectively chased down the target of 185 runs before the 15th over, displaying an authoritative batting display.

In the men’s T20 cricket final at the IBSA World Games 2023 held on Saturday, August 26, the India men’s blind cricket team had to settle for a silver medal following a significant loss to Pakistan. Opting to bat first, India established a target of 184-3 within a span of 20 overs. India had previously overcome Bangladesh in the qualifier, registering a seven-wicket triumph, which paved their way to the final. In contrast, Pakistan solidified their position in the final by emerging victorious in all four matches during the group stage.

Cricket made its debut in the IBSA World Games, and both India’s men’s and women’s blind cricket teams advanced to the finals, securing medals for the country. Today, the women’s team secured a historic gold medal for India by defeating Australia by nine wickets through the DLS method. However, the men’s team faced a disheartening loss to Pakistan, suffering an embarrassing eight-wicket defeat at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

How did IND vs PAK match went by?

DR Tompaki and VR Dunna provided India with a strong start, forming a 50-run partnership in the initial six overs. Dunna contributed 20 runs from 18 balls, while Tompaki delivered an impressive performance, amassing 76 runs from 51 balls, including 11 fours. S Ramesh also made a vital unbeaten contribution of 48 runs from 29 balls, propelling India to a formidable total of 184 runs.

Pakistan displayed remarkable skill in their chase, with openers M Ullah and N Ali rapidly accumulating 50 runs in just 27 balls. However, India‘s bowlers struggled, conceding 42 runs as extras, of which 28 were wides. M Salman showcased his prowess with an unbeaten 48 runs off 25 balls, while B Munir played an explosive innings, scoring 41 not out from 12 balls, ultimately propelling Pakistan to secure the gold medal.
