IND vs SA 2nd ODI: Team South Africa have won the toss and opt to bat first in the second One-Day International happening today at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. Earlier, South Africa had won the first ODI match at the lucknow by 9 runs and took an advantage of 1-0 in the series. Shreyas Iyer played a brave knock but he couldn’t save the team from a loss that day.
The men in blue will be hoping to win the game to tie the score and keep the series alive after losing the first ODI, which was shortened due to rain. The Proteas will also be seeking another victory in order to facilitate their qualification for the ICC World Cup 2023.

While, senior players of India have reached Australia to practice for the T20I World Cup, South Africa is playing with their complete squad. Prior to the ODI series, India had won the T20I series by 2-1, in which senior players were a part too.
