IND vs SL: Axar Patel has played one of the most memorable knocks of his career. Axar smashed 65 runs in 31 balls with 3 fours and 6 sixes. His innings came at a time when India were struggling to score runs with fall of wickets at quick intervals.
The all-rounder has been scoring runs and picking wickets in the opportunity he got in Ravindra Jadeja’s absence. He also picked two wickets and gave just 24 runs in his four overs quota. All the other bowlers from the Indian camp were expensive against the Sri Lanka batters.
Axar’s heroics knock went in vain as towards the end, Indian batters failed to take the team to the crossing line.

However, the all-rounder’s knock has brought all praise across the cricketing spectrum.
Suryakumar displays form yet again
Suryakumar also scored 51 runs with 3 sixes and 3 fours. Suryakumar got out un the 16th over while Axar batted till last. Earlier, Sri Lanka Sri Lanka had put out 206 runs in 20 overs with Dasun Shanaka being the top scorer with his 56 runs off 22 balls. Shanaka smashed two fours and six sixes and batted with a strike rate of over 250.
