IND Vs SL

Sanju Samson once again failed to capitalize his chance on the international stage as he was dismissed on a duck during IND Vs SL.

IND Vs SL: It must be exhausting to possess so much talent and batting prowess but to somehow fail almost every time. That is the case with Sanju Samson who has all the talent in the world.

But apart from a few brilliant innings, we have not seen the best Samson so far on the international stage. No one other than the Rajasthan Royals’ skipper would be most frustrated over these outcomes.

Because it looks like every time he gets the chance something happens that hampers his performance. Once again Samson failed to capitalize on the chance given and was out on a golden duck.

Golden Duck For Samson

The Blues came to chase a rather challenging target of 78 in just 8 overs. Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the innings for India and Jaiswal was looking strong on one side.

But Samson was not even able to open his account as Maheesh Theekshana bowled him on the first delivery he faced. It was a good delivery but it did not change the fact that Samson once again failed to score even a single run.

In 2024, Samson has scored only 1 run in three international matches. And the window to impress the selectors is getting smaller with each passing match.

IND Vs SL: Series Clinched

India won a one-sided second T20i match to clinch the first series under Gautam Gambhir’s regime. Sri Lanka was in control in the early phase of the match but the Indian bowlers made a sensational comeback in the later stages.

The rain shortened the match and the revised target for the Blues was 78 runs in 8 overs. Which was chased easily courtesy of Surya Kumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Hardik Pandya.
