Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rishabh Pant all are natural entertainers from behind the stumps and are hilarious to hear. Well, we might have to add KL Rahul to that list now.
During the first IND Vs SL ODI, KL Rahul had a hilarious moment with Rohit Sharma that is making rounds on the internet. It was a simple question by the wicketkeeper but made every fan laugh who heard it.
‘IPL Vaala Hai Kya’
The moment came in the 14th over when Shivam Dube was bowling. Yes, you read that right, Shivam Dube was India’s fifth pacer on Wednesday and even picked up his maiden ODI wicket.
In the 14th over, Dube bowled a close wide down the leg side but Shreyas Iyer and Rahul heard something. The keeper ran straight towards his captain and asked ‘”IPL Vaala Hai Kya?”
Even Virat Kohli was quite a bit shocked over the question as only IPL allows players to take reviews for a wide. Not only hilarious, but this instance was also a testament to Rahul’s brilliant judgment behind the wickets and how smartly he uses the DRS.
IND Vs SL: Full Control
The Blues are in full control of the game as half of Sri Lanka went to the pavilion with only 100 runs on the board. Only Pathum Nissanka was able to bat as he scored a valiant half-century.
But other than that, both spinners and pacers have completely choked down the Lankans. If things continue like this, India is looking at a very under-par target.
