IND vs SL: Team India’s bowling performance has been outstanding as the hosts have reduced Sri Lanka to 134/8 in 18 overs after putting up a respectable total of 62 runs. Men in Blue have had excellent bowlers, but the fielding also deserves praise. In order to give India a significant wicket of Charith Asalanka, wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan showed perfection on the field.

While Men in Blue were trying to show their dominance and take more wickets, Ishan Kishan pulled off an stunning catch to dismiss Asalanka, the Sri Lankan batter. It was a close call as the ball went a very high but the wicket-keeper batsman ran off towards the ball and took the excellent catch.

Asalanka was dismissed during the eight over of Sri Lanka’s innings in which Umran Malik threw a short-length delivery. But the ball took the leading edge and went too high into the air in the direction of fine leg. Kishan called for it and made the dive to catch a spectacular catch as Harshal Patel was approaching from the deep. The player’s effort caught the attention of captain Hardik Pandya, who grinned broadly.
