IND vs SL: Kuldeep Yadav is making the most of the chance he got during the second One Day International against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Kuldeep got his chance in place of seasoned leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who did pretty well in the first ODI. The left-arm leg-spinner picked three wickets till the 31st over of Sri Lanka’s batting.
Kuldeep delivery to Charith Asalanka has been trending. Asalanka never looked comfortable to Kuldeep who was turning the ball at his best. He played google on back foot which should have been played from front to reduce the spin of the ball. The ball went straight to Kuldeep who ended up taking a brilliant catch on his own delivery.

Chahal injured
Earlier, Rohit Sharma added Kuldeep Yadav in the eleven after mentioning Yuzvendra Chahal not being fit for the match.
“One enforced change for us, Chahal in the last game put in a dive and hasn’t recovered well today, so Kuldeep Yadav comes in.” said Rohit at the toss.
Apart from Asalanka, Kuldeep also dismissed hard-hitting Wanindu Hasaranga and clean-bowled Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka who scored his career’s second ton in the first ODI.
Mohammed Siraj, Axar Patel and Umran Malik also picked one wicket apiece to get India to have to a stronghold in the game.
