IND vs SL: In the third and final T20I of the series against Sri Lanka on Saturday, Rahul Tripathi struck out against Chamika Karunaratne with an amazing hit. Tripathi remained firm, positioned himself beneath the delivery, and lofted the ball for a six directly over the bowler’s head on a fuller delivery. The video of his is now going rapidly viral on social media.

Since Karunaratne could only see the ball floating over the barrier, the shot astounded both, commentators and the crowd. In an effort to raise the run rate, Tripathi did lose his wicket the following delivery; nevertheless, he quickly reached 35 from 16 deliveries and left to cheers from the bench.
Tripathi made his international debut in the team’s most recent game against Sri Lanka in Pune, but the batsman didn’t leave a lasting impression at the moment as he was bowled out after five deliveries. Tripathi started the match in position three, and he kept it for the series’ final T20I at Rajkot.

Tripathi entered the game in the series finale after Ishan Kishan was out in the very first over. Tripathi adopted an aggressive stance from the first ball, smashing five fours and two sixes during his brief time at the bat, in contrast to Gill’s comparatively sluggish start to the game.
Suryakumar Yadav too scored century as the Men in Blue managed to scored 228 runs in the 20 overs, giving Sri Lanka a hefty target to chase.
