IND Vs SL ended in a thrilling fashion as every fans was on the edge of their seats and it gave them something to laugh about.

IND Vs SL was one of the best ODI matches in the past few years and the fans were entertained. It has been so long since we have gotten low-scoring thrillers in ODI and this was it.

After whitewashing Sri Lanka in the T20i series India wanted to start with a bang in the ODI series as well. The bowlers did their job to a certain extent but Patthum Nissanka and Dunith Wellalage drove Sri Lanka to a decent score.

In reply, India started brilliantly with Rohit Sharma smashing everyone around the park. While doing so he also completed 15,000 international runs as an opener. It was a delight to see him bat.

The Fightback

But after 15 overs, Sri Lanka started a comeback and choked the Blues. Every batsman from there on was struggling to score runs freely. India quickly lost a few wickets and was 132/5 at one stage.

KL Rahul and Axar Patel steered the ship and got India closer to the target but fell simultaneously. Shivam Dube, who was making his ODI debut fought hard with the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj.

He tied the score and with 1 run left to win was given LBW out. India needed 1 run to win with 1 wicket in hand and Arshdeep Singh walked out to bat. Keep in mind that Arshdeep was brilliant with bat against Pakistan in the T20i World Cup.

He could have knocked the ball around and taken a single to win the match. But he went for the glory and played a giant slog sweep and completely missed the ball. He was plumbed LBW out and the match ended in a tie.

IND Vs SL: Meme Riot
