IND Vs SL: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are true entertainers of the game. There is not a single dull moment when these two are on the ground. They make sure that everyone gets their money’s worth.
Whether it is with their bat or with their antics, they make sure that everyone has a good time. It also makes the lives of fans who get enough content for a few days whenever both of them are on the ground.
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma got in the limelight during the first ODI match against Sri Lanka because of the stump mic. And in the second ODI, Virat Kohli decided to take that mantle and run away with it.
The Bihu Celebration
The incident happened in the 27th over of the inning. Axar Patel was bowling to Sadeera Samarawickrama and a small partnership was brewing. The Blues needed a wicket quickly.
Just like always, Axar delivered and got the wicket of Sadeera who tried to hit Axar out of the park. But to his dismay, the ball found a huge top edge and did not even cross the 30-yard circle.
The ball went to Virat Kohli who was standing at covers and took an easy catch. After claiming the catch, Kohli brings out the Bihu dance celebration while looking at Riyan Parag, possibly to tease him.
Bihu dance celebration is Parag’s trademark celebration while he plays in IPL for Rajasthan Royals. Parag even brought out this celebration once when he took the catch of Kohli.
IND Vs SL: Good Chase Ahead
After a shaky start, Sri Lanka once again pulled back and scored a respectable and defendable total. The Lankan scored 240/9 in their designated 50 overs with two runouts in the final overs.
This inning once again shows India’s weakness of taking wickets in the middle overs. Both of the times, the Blues were unable to all out Sri Lanka after having a brilliant start.
