IND Vs USA T20 World Cup 2024: Arshdeep Singh has been on fire in the ongoing T20 World Cup. He has taken 5 wickets in the three matches so far and has been on the economic side as well.
The New York pitch will surely be his favorite as it brings out his swing and aids him in many ways. And on the last match in Nassau County International Stadium, he decided to do something special.
He was on top of the USA team from the first delivery where he knocked down Shayan Jahangir. He was not done and completed his first over perfectly by taking another wicket on the last delivery.
What A Bowler!
It was the first ball of the match and Arhsdeep pitched it perfectly on the length area. The ball swung inside and hit the pad of the right-handed opener and everyone knew it was out.
The left-arm pacer was so confident that he did not even look back at the umpire. He was not done and continued to torment Andries Gous who was struggling to even touch the ball.
Arshdeep succeeded on the last delivery when a length ball bounced quite high and Gous was not able to control it. He played a pull shot directly in the hands of Hardik Pandya who was standing at Mid-Off.

With this, Arshdeep became only the fourth bowler to pick a wicket on the first delivery of a T20 World Cup match. It was also the second incident when Arshdeep took two wickets in the same over in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match.
