Ind Vs WI 2023: It has been evident that West Indies keeper Joshua Da Silva is a huge Virat Kohli fan. Their banter has been going viral on social media for a while now and everyone is enjoying it.
The keeper was rooting for Kohli to hit a century and was having fun talking to him. And when Virat got his milestone century, it looked like Joshua was more happy than him. The wicketkeeper has also confirmed that his mother is also a big fan of the former Indian skipper.
In a conversation with Kohli, the West Indian revealed that “My mom called me and told me she’s coming to watch the match for Virat Kohli, I couldn’t believe it.” And it looks like his mother was telling the truth.
A Heartwhelming Moment
On the second day of the test match, Joshua’s mother was waiting for team India’s arrival near their bus. And as soon as Kohli came out she hugged him and embraced him before breaking down.
She was lost for words but asked some of the people there to click her picture. An ecstatic moment for her where she was in tears. Later she revealed to journalist Vimal Kumar why it was such a huge moment for her.
“Kohli is one of the best batsmen in our lifetime. So it is an honor for me to meet him and my son to be on the same field as him.”
Ind Vs WI 2023: A Tough Match Ahead
Indian team batted amazingly in the first inning as they score 438 runs in the first inning. Virat Kohli scored a brilliant century whereas 4 other players got to the 50 runs mark.
And in reply West Indies were in a strong position by the end of the first day. West Indies finished the day with 86/1 in 41 overs and are batting really well. This match might not be like the first one and India might have to sweat it out to take wickets.
