Ravindra Jadeja has also started his preparation before the series. The star all-rounder was just caught by cameras visiting Ashapura Mata ahead of their series. The Indian cricketer’s wife shared the pictures on his Twitter account.
Ravindra Jadeja: A Devotee
This is not the first time that Jadeja has been seen in a temple before a tournament or series. Back in 2015, Ravindra Jadeja did a religious hike from Jamnagar to Ashapura Mata temple. Jadeja completed the 375 km long hike with his friend, which took them 13 days.
There have been other instances when people saw Jadeja visiting various temples. He has been a true devotee of Ashapura Mata for a long time now. He visits the temple whenever he gets the chance to do so.
Ind Vs WI 2023: A New Start
Ind Vs WI 2023 series is a new start for Jadeja as he was also part of the WTC 2023 final loss. Jadeja was one of the better performers of the team in that match. He scored a half-century and took crucial wickets of Australian batsmen in the match.
Jadeja is part of both the test and ODI squad against West Indies and will also retain his spot in T20. He is also confirmed for World Cup, mostly if his form does not take a dip. So, he would like to get back in the groove with this series.
