Ind Vs WI 2023: Now that the test series is over both teams have switched their focus on the ODI series. And it looks like both the teams are looking to have a strong start to their World Cup 2023 preparation.
It looks like Indian players are having the time of their lives in the Caribbeans. The Blues are set to face West Indies in the first ODI on Thursday, July 27 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
And Indian players are sweating it out on the nets ahead of the first match. But what is wrong with little banter in between those intense rallies? Virat Kohli had the same idea and made the most of his net session earlier today.
Kohli Having Fun In Nets
A video has gone viral that showcases Virat Kohli teasing Hardik Pandya and having banter with him. Hardik Pandya has returned to the Indian camp for the white ball series and was practicing his bowling before the first match.
Virat Kohli played his signature cover drive on a ball pitch upwards on the offside giving him room. And then the banter started. After hitting a perfect cover drive, Pandya asks Kohli whether it is a boundary or not.
In his cheeky style, the former Indian skipper started dancing and signaling a four. It was really fun to see as Pandya also started laughing at Kohli’s reaction.
Ind Vs WI 2023: First Match Today
The first ODI match between West Indies and India will start today at 6:00 PM IST. It is sure to be a barn burner. Carribeans are looking to look past their World Cup qualification failure while India will like to start their preparation for Asia Cup 2023 strong.
The team will be announced in a few hours and there will be some returns. It will be the first time the Indian men’s team will wear the blue jersey since their partnership with Adidas.
