The first match of the series witnessed the debut of two talented Indian players, Tilak Verma and Mukesh Kumar. Meanwhile, the veteran players such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested once again. They will be seen again in the action in the Asia Cup 2023.
