Mohammed Shami scalped 3 wickets that helped India to restrict England to a total of 188/5 in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan top-scored for India in the chase of 189 runs. He opened the innings with KL Rahul in the absence of Rohit Sharma and made his case stronger for a spot in the final playing XI when the main matches starts.
KL Rahul added 82 runs for the first wicket with Ishan Kishan. He got to his fifty with a strike-rate of over 200 to give India an early advantage in the chase.
