Paris Olympics 2024: The Indian men’s hockey team resumed their FIH Pro League campaign with a bang as they annihilated Germany in a one-sided affair. India will play Germany again before concluding their FIH campaign against Great Britain.
These last 4 matches of the FIH Pro League are crucial to the Indian team. Not only would they like to finish in the top 3 by finishing all these matches, but these matches will be essential for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
India is an explosive team that can play attractive attacking hockey. But they have struggled with consistency as of late and would like to fix that as well. Their match against Germany was perfect for that as India came out victorious 3-0.
Sukhjeet Singh Show
Sukhjeet Singh was brilliant in the match as he was involved in the first two goals of the match. For the first goal, he drew a foul from Antheus Barry and because of this Harmanpreet Singh scored a brilliant goal.
Sukhjeet registered himself on the scoresheet soon after scoring the second goal. It was a sensational goal as he received the ball on the wing and played a brilliant through pass to Abhishek.
Abhishek showed his dribbling prowess spotted the run by Sukhjeet and laid the ball for him perfectly. Sukhjeet unleashed an unstoppable shot that could have taken the net out. Gurjant Singh scored the third to seal the game completely.
Huge Boost Before Paris Olympics 2024
It is the perfect start for India’s 2024 Paris Olympics campaign because Germany is a very solid team. The Indian team had a good structure throughout the game and would like to maintain this consistency till the Olympics.
