India finished Day 3 with 14 runs on the board with the loss of a single wicket and they are 63 runs ahead of New Zealand first innings score. The was totally dominated by India as they picked all 10 New Zealand wickets.
Axar Patel was the star bowler for Team India on Day 3 with his fifth five-wicket haul in his fifth Test match. Apar from Axar, Ravichandran Ashwin also took three wickets and brilliant with his line and length.
Earlier, New Zealand openers have added 151 runs for the first wicket with Tom Lathan scoring 95 runs and Will Young impressing with his 89-run knock. However, no other Kiwi batter utilised the momentum set by the openers and that resulted in they batting crumble.
