Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the Indian side for the last two Test match on his request.
“Bumrah made a request to BCCI [Board of Control for Cricket in India] to be released from India’s squad ahead of the fourth Test owing to personal reasons. Accordingly, the fast bowler has been released and he will not be available for selection for the fourth Test [against England],” said a BCCI statement.
After the completion of the third Test match in just two days the fourth Test match is all set to begin on March 4.
The statement further added that there will be no addition in the squad for the final Test match.
BCCI however never mentioned the reason of Bumrah’s sudden absence from the last Test match.
