India vs Hong Kong, Asia Cup: Virat Kohli ended a 6-month-long wait for a fifty in T20I cricket as he took charge of the innings of the defending champions against Hong Kong in their Asia Cup 2022 match in Dubai on Wednesday, August 31.

With this feat, Kohli has equalled Rohit Sharma’s most number of fifties in T20Is as he now 31 in total.
While, Rohit had another off day as the India captain was dismissed for 21 off 13 balls having hit two fours and a six. Rahul got a start but got out caught behind for 36 off 39 balls as Hong Kong bowlers kept India in check and did not let India’s top order score freely.
Brief Scores: India 192/2 in 20 overs (Suryakumar Yadav 68 not out, Virat Kohli 59 not out; Mohammad Ghazanfar 1-19, Ayush Shukla 1-29) against Hong Kong
