After securing a silver medal at the Summer Games 2024, India’s golden boy is already looking at his plans. He wants to improve himself and will try to touch that 90-meter mark that he has not yet touched.
On the other hand, Neeraj also revealed his dream and his desire for the upcoming future. He stated that he would keep practicing and would like to compete against the international star in his backyard.
‘International Star In India’
The 2021 Olympic gold medalist said that his dream is to compete against the biggest star in his country. He further explained how performing in front of his people will give him different energy.
During an interactive session with fans organized by the Olympics, he stated “It’s a dream of mine to compete with other international stars in India. Hopefully, there will be an international competition soon in India and I can do that.
Paris Olympics 2024: Future Plans
Neeraj also brushed up on his plans and what he would like to do soon. He stated that he is entering a new season and is excited. Neeraj was also glad that his success has motivated a whole new generation into javelin as a sport.
He stated “I am entering a new season now. So, I don’t have that much time to change training methods or techniques. But I hope to improve upon a couple of areas, especially the line of the javelin.
You know, the correct angle of throwing so that I get more power in my throw. I will certainly work on it.”
