Yashasvi Jaiswal proved his ability in the Under-19 World Cup and now he wants to learn more. However, India could not win the Under-19 World Cup but the fans will never forget the contribution of the entire young brigade of the Indian Under-19 team. Jaiswal was the highest run-scorer in the tournament and also took crucial wickets at a time.
Jaiswal will play for the Rajasthan Royals in this IPL and will be sharing the dressing room with giants like Ben Stokes, Jos Butler, and Steve Smith. The youngster is eager to learn from them. He said that he definitely has some experience of this format which he will use during the tournament.
He said, “I am trying to learn from the senior players around me as much as I can. They had a lot of experience in this format. I want to learn and apply all those tactics in all those situations. I can understand there is a big difference between U-19 cricket and senior-level cricket and I probably have to start from the beginning.”
Rajasthan Royals spent Rs.240 crore for the 18-years-old in the IPL 2020 auctions.
