West Bengal’s young fast bowler Ishan Porel has been included as an additional bowler in the Team India squad for the Australian tour. 22-year-old Ishan is included in the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) squad in the 13th season of IPL, but he is still waiting for his maiden chance in this season.
The 22-year-old Ishan Porel got a place in the IPL due to his brilliant performance in domestic cricket. He was bought by the Punjab franchise for Rs 20 lakh in the 2020 auction. But in the current IPL, he has not got a place in Kings XI Punjab’s XI.
Meanwhile, few days back good news came for Ishan that he has been given an opportunity by the Indian selectors as an additional fast bowler for the tour of Australia. After Ashok Dinda and Mohammed Shami, Ishaan made a place in the list of Indian Pacers on behalf of Bengal.
