Hardik Pandya from Mumbai Indians and Chris Morris from Royal Challengers Bangalore has been reprimanded by the match refree for breaching the code of conduct in last match. Mumbai Indians won the game by 5 wickets and are almost qualified for the play-offs.
The incident happened in the 19th over in Mumbai’s chase where Morris got Pandya out and in the batsman responded in an angrily manner. Morris also reacted to his action in an unacceptable manner.
Both the players admitted to the charges levelled against them, Morris has been given Level 1 offence 2.5 of IPL Code of Conduct and Pandya to Level 1 offence 2.2.
Mumbai Indians are currently on top of the points table with 16 points while Royal Challengers are at second position with 14 points.
