Former India opener, Virender Sehwag has criticised the bad umpiring in the match between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab in IPL-13.
Mayank Agarwal and Chris Jordan were batting during the 19th over of Punjab’s innings chasing a target of 158 runs. Jordan was given run-out by the umpires, but Jordan’s bat was complete across the crease as seen in the replays.
As fans across the world slammed umpires on the social media sites with tweets regarding the ‘Lost Run’, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag slammed the umpiring howler, saying he should have been awarded the ‘Man of the Match’.
“I don’t agree with the man of the match choice. The umpire who gave this short run should have been man of the match. Short run nahin tha. And that was the difference.” Virender Sehwag wrote.
