Chennai Super Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets. RCB won the toss and batted first and set a decent target of 146 runs in front of Chennai. Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team chased the target by losing wickets (150/2) in 18.4 overs. Rituraj Gaikwad played an unbeaten inning of 65 runs from 51 balls for Chennai.

In this match, Virat Kohli made a special achievement in his name. He hit a four and a six during the half-century innings (50 runs from 43 balls). This only six in this innings brought special achievement for him. He hit this six off Ravindra Jadeja on the third ball of the 17th over and completed his 200 sixes in the IPL.

Kohli is the 5th batsman to touch the mark of 200 sixes in the IPL. Chris Gayle tops the list, he has hit 336 sixes so far. At number two is AB de Villiers, who has 231 sixes in his account. MS Dhoni has so far scored 216 and Rohit Sharma has scored 209 sixes.
