Chennai Super Kings have signed Australia fast bowler Jason Bahrendoff as the replacement for Australian Josh Hazlewood who pulled out from the 14th season of the Indian Premier League citing a heavy international calendar.
Before this Behrendoff’s second IPL team, earlier he had represanted Mumbai Indians in the 2019th season. He played five games and picked as many wickets.
Hazlewood has stated that he wanted to take a break from cricket after being a part of the Australian bio-bubble for a longer period of time.
“It’s been a long 10 months in bubbles and quarantine at different times, so I decided to have a rest from cricket and spend some time at home and in Australia in the next two months,” Hazlewood told cricket.com.au.
