Mumbai Indians will march against Punjab Kings in their 5th match of the season today at 7:30 PM IST. The match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Rohit Sharma-led MI side will look to register their third win of the season. Mumbai middle-order has not been in their top form this season. Neither Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and Ishan Kishan has played match-winning innings till now in the tournament. It’s only because of their bowling that they managed to bring all four games close and won two of four.
On the other hand, things are totally different for KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings, they are well equipped with the bat but failed to deliver with the ball yet in the season. All the top-order batsmen except Nicholas Pooran have done their job but their bowlers never performed. In this game, they might rope in World Number 1 in T20I format Dawid Malan in the side for the first time.
