Kedhar Jadhav joins RCB for IPL 2023

Having debuted in the IPL in 2010, Jadhav has amassed 1196 runs in 93 matches thus far. The right-handed batsman, who had previously represented RCB in 17 matches, was acquired by the team for a sum of INR 1 Crore.

In the ongoing season, David Willey, the all-rounder from England, featured in four matches for RCB and managed to take three wickets. Kedar Jadhav had previously represented RCB in the 2016 and 2017 seasons before moving on to join the Chennai Super Kings in subsequent years. In the IPL 2021, Jadhav donned the jersey of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, in the following auctions last year, he remained unsold, missing out on securing a team for the tournament.

However, in the context of IPL 2023, Jadhav maintained his association with the tournament in a different role. He served as an expert with JioCinema, which holds the online streaming rights for the T20 tournament.

Kedhar Jadhav to strengthen RCB’s middle order

Given RCB’s challenges in the middle-order batting department, the inclusion of Jadhav brings valuable experience and a knack for finishing innings, making him a potentially crucial addition to their lineup. The team has high hopes that he will quickly adapt and make a significant impact in the upcoming matches.

Jadhav is set to join the RCB squad in Lucknow ahead of their match against the Lucknow Super Giants, scheduled for May 1. His arrival provides RCB with an opportunity to strengthen their batting order and address the issues they have faced in the middle overs. The team will be eager for Jadhav to hit the ground running and contribute effectively to their quest for success in the tournament.
