When will Josh Hazlewood come for IPL 2023
He has revealed that he will be reaching India on April 14th, but would need at least one week before getting completely fit. Meanwhile, his Australian teammate Glenn Maxwell, is also likely to miss RCB’s opening match against Mumbai Indians on April 2, as he has not yet fully recovered from a leg fracture.
Josh Hazlewood was quoted as saying, “Everything is ticking along according to plan, so I’ll be heading over on the 14th (of April) depending on how the next two weeks go. Josh eyeing Ashes after IPL 2023
Josh has not yet received medical clearance from Cricket Australia board. He also stated, “T20 is a lot different to Test and even one-day cricket. You only need 20 balls at full pace and that’s pretty close to a game, which is a good thing.” Josh had to withdraw from the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in India due to his Achilles injury. However, he is now eyeing his return to the field via IPL 2023, as he aims to get back in shape ahead of the Ashes series.
