With this half-century, Ruturaj became the new orange cap holder of IPL 2024 and got another record for CSK. It has been a wonderful season for Rutu so far and he is raising questions as he was snubbed from the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad.

Ruturaj scored 62 runs in 48 deliveries with a Strike Rate of 130. It might look slow, but with the way that the pitch was reacting, it was a commendable effort. He is now the orange cap holder of this tournament as he overtook Virat Kohli.
Gaikwad has now scored 509 runs so far in this tournament, making him the top scorer of the tournament. He overtook Virat Kohli who has 500 runs in his name and he would like to take back that orange cap.
It is the first time that a CSK captain has scored 500 runs in a season. It is mostly because MS Dhoni always used bat lower down the order. But no matter what, it is a sensational landmark that Rutu has achieved and is raising questions with his performances.

Ruturaj has been seriously raising questions among the experts and fans all around the country. Him not getting a place even in the reserves of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad will be questioned.
