IPL 2024 DC Vs MI: Kite Flying Competition

As Rohit Sharma was getting ready to face Lizaad Williams during the second innings, a kite landed on his feet. The Indian skipper stopped his stance and picked up the kite. The crowd was already cheering but what happened next uplited the mood 10 times.

The former Mumbai Indians skipper picked up the kite and gave it to Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant. Who did not let go of this moment and started flying the kite. Or at least he was trying to do so.

His efforts were in vain as the kite did not fly but it was enough for the crowd to shout their heart out. The wicket-keeper eventually handed over the kite to the leg umpire but this moment will always be remembered by the fans.
