IPL 2024 DC vs RR: Yuzvendra Chahal has been one of the best T20 bowlers for a very long time. His consistency has been remarkable as he always gets a wicket no matter what the situation is.
He has countless T20 records to his name and he reached another milestone against Delhi Capitals. He took down the threatening Rishabh Pant to complete his 350 wickets in T20 Cricket. What a career he has had.
This milestone put his performance in perspective. He has played half of his career at Chinnaswamy when he was in RCB. To take these amounts of wickets on a ground that is heaven for batsmen is unreal.
IPL 2024 DC vs RR: 350 Wickets Reached
Chahal became the first Indian bowler to achieve this milestone. He has also placed himself at the 11th position among top wicket-takers in T20 cricket. And the way he is performing every season, he is going to finish with a lot more wickets.
This achievement also questions why he was ignored for so long by BCCI. He has finally bagged himself a place in the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which was long overdue.
This consistency should be applauded by everyone and there is no doubt that Chahal is one of the greatest T20 bowlers of this generation. It was his 301st match and the only other Indian bowler to touch the 300 wicket mark is Piyush Chawla with 310 wickets.
