IPL 2024 KKR vs SRH Final: Bad Luck or…! Shreyas Iyer Loses Another Toss; Watch

Shreyas Iyer lost another toss which has became a habit for him, but this time it came during the IPL 2024 KKR vs SRH Final match. In this match toss can play a huge part and it can change the course of the match.

IPL 2024 KKR VS SRH Final: It looks like Shreyas Iyer decided to give competition to Ruturaj Gaikwad before the start of the tournament in terms of bad luck. Both these young captains rarely won the toss for their teams. Things got so bad for Ruturaj that he was practicing toss in the dressing room. But how do you practice toss?

No matter what it looked like, Shreyas Iyer could have used that practice as he lost yet another toss. And this time in the final of the tournament. It is baffling that KKR has been so dominating in the tournament where the toss plays a massive factor in the result.

Pat Cummins seemed happy after winning the toss and chose to bat first without a second thought. Considering the pitch is good for batting if Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma get a good start, we are in for a treat.

Happy With The Decision

But even though Iyer lost the toss, it looks like he is happy with the outcome. He stated that he would have taken bowling only. According to him “This is a completely different soil. We wanted to back that. We need to stick to our strengths and need to execute our plans. We have been backing each other.”

On the other hand, Cummins had other ideas. He stated that he can never read pitch that well but it looks like a good batting surface. “We are playing a particular style, which won’t work every time but when it does, it will be damaging. Good to be back here. It is a different soil, but you are asking the wrong bloke.”

It looks like both teams got what they wanted and we can hope for a sensational final. These teams have played their brand of cricket and won’t shy away from doing that once again.

While KKR is playing the same team, Hyderabad has made one change which was expected. Shahbaz has come in for Abdul Samad, which means that SRH will be one batter short. But looking at their lineup, if their batting clicks, it won’t matter.
