Hyderabad had the worst luck during the IPL 2024 KKR Vs SRH Qualifier 1 and ultimately lost the match as Kolkata qualifies for the finals.

IPL 2024 KKR Vs SRH Qualifier 1: It was one of the unluckiest days for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Nothing went their way against Kolkata as first they were not able to set a good target.

But things turned for worse when they were completely out of luck in the second innings. Catches getting dropped, decisions not going their way, frustrations in the camp, players colliding with each other.

Everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. This not only left the players in a frustrated mood, but even SRH’s owner Kavya Maran was shocked by these instances that left them with no chance in the qualifier.

Unlucky Surisers

Nothing went SRH’s way as every decision went against them since the first delivery. An LBW appeal that was rejected by the umpire was challenged by SRH. When the Hawk-Eye showed the replay, the ball was pitching outside leg by just a cm. Kavya Maran was shocked over the replay.

After that Henrich Klassen took an amazing catch but collided with Rahul Tripathi and dropped it. Klassen was not able to believe what went down and sat there disappointed for a while.

Travis Head would like to forget about this game completely. He not only got dismissed for a duck but also dropped a sitter of Shreyas Iyer. After that, his 1.4 overs went for 32 runs.

KKR finished at the top of the table and they proved once again why they are the best team in IPL 2024. Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer scored sensational half-centuries as Kolkata finished the match in just 13.4 overs.

Sunrisers will now play against the winner of Bangalore Vs Rajasthan who will face each other on Wednesday in the Eliminator. KKR will be waiting for the winning team of the second Qualifier.
