IPL 2024 KKR Vs SRH Qualifier 1: Mithcell Starc is a big game player. Whenever the stakes are high, he turns up a notch. You want a player like that in big games and he once again proved that.
The first qualifier between KKR and SRH kicked off and Mitch starc struck in the first over itself. He did not stop there as he took 3 wickets in the PowerPlay to destroy Hyderbad’s top order.
Hyderabad scored 50 runs in the PowerPlay which is a decent score. But they lost 4 wickets in the process. The situation got so worse that Henrich Klassen had to come and bat in the PowerPlay itself.
Starc On Fire!
It was Mitch Starc’s night as he knocked down Travis Head on the second delivery. An out-swinging length delivery broke down Head’s defense. The stumps were flying and the Aussie opener was in disbelief. It is Head’s second duck in consecutive matches.
The wrath did not end there as Shreyas Iyer called Strac to bowl his third over in the PowerPlay itself. And he did not disappoint as he took down Nitish Reddy and Shahbaz Ahmed in two deliveries.
Vaibhav Arora took down Abhishek Sharma in the second over and assisted Strac. SRH’s scary opening order was completely nerfed down by KKR bowlers and it has given them a very big chance in this qualifier.
IPL 2024 KKR Vs SRH Qualifier 1: Fightback
Even after losing wickets early, Abhishek Tripathi has started the fightback for SRH. While the wickets are falling down from one side, he has scored a brilliant half-century in just 30 deliveries.
It has given SRH a fighting chance if they bat with sensibility here they can still touch the 200-run mark, which can be enough on this ground.
